From the bluest of blue waters to the greenest of jungles, Thailand is home to a staggering amount and variety of beauty.
Thailand has become one of the most visited countries in the world, welcoming in a staggering 30 million tourists in 2015. That’s a lot of guests, and the impact is certainly seen and felt in many of Thailand’s more popular locations. Don’t let that discourage you, however! There is much to see and do in Thailand, and as you will see below, plenty of beauty to go around!

Bangkok
The capital of Thailand was our first stop. The city is inhabited by eight million residents and countless tourists. From the backpacker haven of Khao San Road, to the glitzy downtown skyscrapers and the multitude of amazing temples, everything is just a tuk-tuk ride away.

Chiang Mai
Located in the north, Chiang Mai is Thailand’s second largest city. We explored the old city for a few days, and headed out of town on rented scooters into the hills outside of the city, and the temples found there.

Pai
The small town of Pai lies tucked away some 130 kilometers to Chaing Mai’s north. It is surrounded by natural beauty of staggering proportion and we managed to capture a tiny bit of it with our camera. Green rice paddies, lush rolling hills, vibrant fauna, and amazing sunsets make Pai a must visit location in Thailand for nature lovers, hikers, and admirers of all things beautiful and serene.
