Oh my…how insightful. Enjoyed the reading very much. Light- hearted humour, great coffee spots & scenic sights en-route with a twist of VERY interesting local info My 1st visit to Vienna coming up. Looking v FWD to my visit having read your article.
Displaced twice, as a child refugee myself.
Embraced the different cultures,…had too..become almost addicted to travelling. Survival.
LOVE, love immersing myself & my friends in local but away from tourism. 51 countries & counting. No, it’s not by business travel.. not a corporate Amex business thing.

Ps….not my first and only travel reference. I plough through endless travel sites, researching, blogs etc to find the ‘nuggets’ worthwhile and actually relevant to myself as an independent traveller, with friends. Off the beaten track.
